Privacy

We don't ask for your name, number or email, and there are no accounts, forms or sign-ins on this site.

There's no advertising and no tracking. The site loads nothing from other companies: fonts and images come from this site itself.

A few small things are saved in your own browser. The language you picked is a cookie called wsg-locale (plus a copy in local storage); your browser sends that cookie to this site's server, and only so the site opens in your language. The boxes you tick on the checklist (wsg-checklist-v1, in local storage) and a note that the opening animation has already played (wsg-intro-played and wsg-recover-intro-played, kept only until you close the tab) never leave your browser. The ticks on the recovery steps (wsg-recover-done-v1) stay in your browser too. If the opening animation stutters on your device, the site notes that (wsg-motion-v2, plus wsg-stutter-visit until you close the tab), and if it happens on two visits it shows the simple version from then on. These notes never leave your browser. Clear your browser data and all of them are gone.

When you copy a message template, it goes to your own clipboard. Nothing is sent to us. If you then open WhatsApp's form, an email app or a government portal, that service's own privacy policy applies.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.

To know how many people the guide reaches, the site counts visits on its own server, as daily totals only: visits, pages opened, language, phone, tablet or computer, the name of the site a visitor came from, and how often the intro video is played or downloaded. It sets no cookie and keeps no IP address. To count a visitor only once a day it keeps a scrambled code that can't be turned back into an address, and deletes it the next day. Nothing is shared with anyone.
